Job Summary
The No Surprises Act (NSA) Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for working within the NSA Team to ensure open negotiation notices and Independent Dispute Resolutions (IDR) notices are handled in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with departmental and governmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for learning and becoming an expert in all NSA business office processes and workflows
- Responsible for following all NSA business office processes
- Responsible for ensuring Open Negotiation notices are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Responsible for ensuring IDR notices are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Responsible for ensuring IDR Final Offers are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
Minimum Required
- One (1) year of previous revenue cycle experience in a healthcare or insurance setting
- Experience working in Epic
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or an equivalent combination of previous related payment reimbursement experience and education

- Strong analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of healthcare receivables.
