Job Title: Program Manager (Behavioral Health)
Job Summary
The Program Manager oversees the daily operations of a behavioral health residential facility, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for residents. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating care, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting residents in achieving treatment and independent living goals.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential home
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
- Implement and monitor program policies, procedures, and schedules
- Manage admissions, discharges, and resident transitions
Staff Supervision & Development
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise direct care staff
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times
Resident Care & Support
- Support implementation of individualized treatment and behavior plans
- Monitor resident progress and ensure appropriate documentation
- Address behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques
- Promote life skills development, independence, and community integration
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations
- Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and medication logs
- Prepare for audits, inspections, and licensing reviews
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with therapists, case managers, medical providers, and families
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Serve as primary point of contact for external stakeholders
Pay: $44,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
