MARKETING ASSISTANT

BASIC SUMMARY:

The Marketing Assistant provides general administrative support and service to the Marketing Department.

BASIC SUMMARY:

The Marketing Assistant provides overall administrative assistance and support to the Marketing Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Independently order, track, and organize giveaways and marketing resources.

· Respond to phone calls and email communications as needed.

· Travel independently to all CNB offices and market areas for meetings, delivering giveaways, presenting, and engaging with customers and community organizations.

· Aid in processing invoices, balancing general ledger accounts, and tracking contracts.

· Write, proofread, and prepare news releases and other communications.

· Help maintain CNB's website and social media channels.

· Monitor local media for CNB ad placements, mentions, competitor activity, and relevant community information.

· Coordinate, purchase, and ensure correct placement of ads through media contacts and vendors; upload ads and enter marketing data into Kadince for tracking.

· Assist the Marketing Director in developing strategies to enhance knowledge and strengthen customer relationships.

· Participate in PR event preparation and attendance and deliver approved marketing materials.

· Comply with Code of Ethics standards and all applicable bank laws and regulations.

· Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Salary Grade: 6- non-exempt, Range: $17.35 to $26.02 depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

· Experience: two to four years related marketing experience.

· Other: Must have demonstrated skills in: customer service, attention to detail, general computer/Internet skills, verbal communication, integrity, people skills, thoroughness and documentation. Must be able to learn new software quickly. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required. Knowledge of social media is helpful.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

· Requires some lifting and carrying items and displays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· May require time worked outside of traditional banking hours. General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

· Requires some travel to CNB market areas and CNB offices.
