General Summary
Answers incoming calls and assists customers. Processes incoming and outgoing mail, address, beneficiary, and rep changes. Assists New Accounts and Transfer In Departments by completing checkback on new accounts and other account maintenance. Assists with daily mail/delivery services.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains and conducts check back on account maintenance.
- Prepares and sends welcome letters to new account holders.
- Processes client name, address, beneficiary, and representative changes.
- Prepares cash handling reports.
- Answers client calls and addresses questions.
- Sends out letters for return mail and address changes received by various other resources.
- Travels to post office to obtain mail and also deliver mail as assigned.
- Opens and sorts mail.
- Answers incoming calls and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent administrative skills including record keeping, planning, and checking work.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to type, answer the phone, and use a ten-key.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to read and write.
- General knowledge of the financial/IRA industry
Education and Experience
One to three years of customer service experience preferred.
