Organization: Community National Bank was founded in 1984 by a group of individuals in Nemaha County, Kansas with diverse local ownership with decisions made on a local level.
Position mission:
The Financial Advisor will prospect new customers and represent the company and its services to small and mid-sized employers. Once a new customer relationship has been established the Financial Advisor will serve as the key point of contact between the employer and the company, ensuring all customer needs are being met. The Financial Advisor will provide general education to plan participants on a routine basis, as well as assist them in allocating assets and selecting investment funds based on participants’ age, current plan assets, risk tolerances, retirement goals, and probable longevity.
Major Duties:
- Prospect for new small and mid-sized employer clients and convince them to select Invisor for their qualified plan needs; close new business opportunities
- Assist in designing an optimal qualified retirement plan based on clients’ goals, best practices, and employee composition and profile
- Serve as the liaison between clients and Invisor to ensure all customer needs are being met, all plan notices are being sent to participants, and all other tasks are being executed in a timely manner
- Provide general investment education seminars and other content to plan participants, incorporating the latest thinking, research, and data, as well as time-tested investing principles, to ensure participants are well informed before making investment decisions
- Assist plan participants in determining appropriate contribution levels, risk tolerances, asset allocations, investment fund selections, as well as offering generally sound and prudent personal financial planning advice
- Develop processes for fund selection, monitoring and replacement, and ensure clients are following necessary standards and compulsory fiduciary practices

- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and closing skills for new business development
- Excellent presentation skills, comfortable in front of large audiences, articulate, and engaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective at forming and sustaining strong customer relationships
- Passion for financial planning and analysis
- Eager to learn new disciplines and financial planning techniques
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage time without direct supervision
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two to five years of related work experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Series 65 license or combination of Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or ability to obtain necessary licensure in a timely manner
- Finance degree strongly preferred
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand and sit for extended lengths of time, read computer screens, talk on the phone, unpack and move supplies up to fifty (50) pounds, reach, kneel, bend, climb and balance. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment is primarily a professional, deadline driven environment with interaction of internal team members and external customers. Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
