Job Overview: Are you a night owl with a passion for making a difference? We’re seeking a dedicated Overnight Youth Care Worker to provide supervision, safety, and emotional support to youth in our residential program. This AWAKE overnight position ensures a secure, clean, and therapeutic environment while implementing the Restorative Approach to youth care.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Security
- Maintain hourly rounds; monitor resident well-being
- Implement safety procedures and emergency response plans
- Build positive, restorative relationships with residents
- Monitor behavior, enforce program rules, and promote life skills
- Assist youth in following individualized service plans
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and inventories
- Support daily routines
- Transport youth to appointments/events and monitor community behavior
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
- Collaborate with clinical and program staff to meet youth needs
- Uphold agency policies, confidentiality, and professional standards
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Human Services setting (youth or adults)
- Age: 21
- Licenses: Valid NYS Driver’s License (clean driving record)
- Certifications: Red Cross training required (agency provided if needed)
