Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing injury prevention, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients and athletes across clinical, outpatient, and community settings. This role collaborates closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care. The Athletic Trainer supports departmental operations, promotes injury prevention strategies, and contributes to hospital-sponsored outreach programs including school systems while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program. Three (3) years of experience in a clinical, hospital, or sports medicine setting preferred. Board of Certification - Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) Current Minnesota licensure (or eligible). Must possess current BLS certification (American Heart Association) and/or obtain within three (3) months of hire.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn an annual salary of $53,654 up to $75,116.
