Job Summary
Assumes administrative responsibility in conjunction with or in the absence of the Facility Administrative Team, making decisions for the care and coordination of services particularly during the evening, night, weekend and/or holiday operational hours. Directs, supervises and/or coordinates the services provided by the health care workers of all departments in the absence of the department director. Identifies patient care problems and assists with solutions. Compiles required reports; and investigates, resolves and/or refers complaints. Trains nursing personnel on new techniques, procedures, and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN Nursing Program and possess current MN license
- Experience in a leadership/management role preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in one or more areas (i.e., Med/Surg., ICCU, Obstetrics, Labor/Delivery)
- Certificates in BLS; ACLS; TNCC; NRP; PALS.
Wage
Depending on your work experience you could earn a wage of $47.61 - $69.04 per hour.
