Compensation
Salary Range: $45.95 - $69.23 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Engineering Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily operations of the plant operations and engineering department to ensure the facility maintains a safe, efficient, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role provides direct supervision of engineering staff, manages workflows, ensures adherence to codes and regulations, and supports ongoing performance improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current California Driver's License
- Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under Community Memorial Healthcare's insurance coverage
- Fifteen (15) years of general maintenance experience working with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or mechanical equipment
- Ten (10) years of hospital maintenance experience
- Current knowledge of local, state and federal regulations
- Ability to read plans and blueprints
- Familiar with Energy Management Systems (EMS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering
- Five (5) years of experience with construction management, Fire/Life Safety systems and BMS/EMS
- Knowledge of tools and/or instrumentation used for troubleshooting and repair
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Refrigeration Recovery License
- Building Management System Certification (BMS)
