Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) - Float Provider

The Role

We’re looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner to serve as our float provider, covering clinic schedules across our three locations. You’ll keep care moving when a site needs extra hands, so patients get seen without waiting. If you like variety, enjoy working with different teams, and want to make a real difference in rural and small-town healthcare, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Provide primary and acute care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to older adults
• See scheduled patients, same-day sick visits, and walk-ins
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; prescribe medications
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
• Document visits accurately and on time in our EHR (eClinicalWorks)
• Travel between Princeton, Hopkinsville, and Oak Grove based on clinic coverage needs
• Work alongside nursing, front desk, and support staff to keep clinics running smoothly

What You’ll Need

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
• Active Kentucky APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• [Minimum experience: new grads welcome / 1 year preferred]

Nice to Have

• Primary care, family practice, or urgent care experience
• Experience with eClinicalWorks
• Experience in a community health center or rural setting
• Spanish proficiency
