RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet patients in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
- Check in patients, verify and update demographics, insurance, and other necessary information
- Collect co-payments and past-due balances
- Provide documents that need to be completed prior to patient's visit
- Complete necessary authorizations & referrals
- Answer and screen all incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and transfer calls as needed
- Manage the waiting room, patient activity, and patient flow
- Excellent customer service skills
