About the Role:

The role of a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) is critical in supporting healthcare teams by safely administering medications to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved Qualified Medication Aide training program.
• Current certification or licensure as a Qualified Medication Aide as required by the state.
• Basic knowledge of medication administration principles and healthcare safety standards.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Additional certifications related to resident care or medication administration.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities:
