Job purpose
- The primary objective of this role is to convert prospective student leads into registered students for publishing classes, contributing to the overall growth and success of the program.
Duties and responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective students
- Outreach: Proactively reach out to prospective students through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate interest in publishing classes.
- Sales Meetings: Conduct informative and persuasive sales meetings with prospective students to encourage enrollment.
- Reporting: Compile and present sales reports at staff meetings to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruitment:
- Recruit students at open mic events, classroom settings, libraries, and online platforms.
- Attend relevant CLI & WSP events to engage with potential students and promote the publishing programs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience using a CRM system to manage leads and student information.
- Experience making sales calls and conducting outreach to prospective clients.
- Strong presentation skills and a willingness to deliver presentations to clients and groups.
- Resides in Los Angeles County (this is an in-person position)
- Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and ability to multitask
- Collaborative spirit
- Willingness and ability to learn established procedures, improving as necessary
Working Location

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25.0 per week
