What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Dispatch Manager position at Community LIFE?
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
Summary of Job Duties: The Logistics Dispatch Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Community LIFE’s multi-site logistics and operational systems. This role is responsible for fleet lifecycle management, dispatch and scheduling optimization, safety and regulatory compliance, data analytics, and technology enablement. This position will lead reorganization and operational development and ensure transportation services are integrated with LIFE centers and home care operations. This position will also supervise 3 regional dispatchers.
Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a mathematics, logistics, strategy or related field with 5–7 years of progressive relevant experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in operations leadership.
- Experience leading multi-site operations.
- Healthcare, PACE, or paratransit experience.
- Experience with transportation technology platforms.
- Experience working with aging, disabled, or other vulnerable populations.
Required Certifications/Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with a five-year history of no traffic violations. Must pass a D.O.T. Physical.
Required Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Strong analytical and operational planning skills
- Trip scheduling logistics
- Driver safety and applicable state driving laws
- Standard vehicle preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to communicate courteously and clearly in a collaborative care/team environment
- Accurate record-keeping and ability to assess quality from data via electronic means
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Team building and conflict resolution skills
- Strong computer skills

Salary : $52,000 - $72,000
