Elementary School Teacher

• Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary between $56,000 to $62,600 based on experience and qualifications

We are seeking dedicated early childhood educators to join the Elementary School Teacher team at Community Leadership Academy. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing young learners, preparing them for kindergarten, and instilling a love for learning.
Qualifications:Your Role and Responsibilities
As an elementary teacher at CLA, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Inspire Young Minds: Create and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across content areas using high-quality curriculum resources like Into Reading, Eureka Math, and Core Knowledge
- Foster a Positive Environment: Build a classroom where every student feels safe, respected, and encouraged to thrive
- Guide Student Learning: Use real-time data and formative assessments to guide your instruction and provide targeted support for each learner
- Collaborate and Differentiate: Work with specialists to ensure every student’s needs are met through thoughtful differentiation and teamwork
- Reinforce School Culture: Promote a strong school culture with consistent routines, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement
- Engage Families: Maintain regular communication with families about student progress, behavior, and successes
- Grow Professionally: Be open to feedback and continuously improve through coaching and collaboration with your peers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- One of the following in elementary education:
- Colorado teaching license or endorsement
- 36 credit hours in content
- Passing score on approved Praxis exams
- For grades K–3 positions, 45 hours of Colorado READ Act training or passed PRAXIS 5205
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
