Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Leasing Specialist located in Chesapeake, VA at our centralized leasing center inside our company headquarters. The Leasing Specialist will handle day-to-day leasing activities, such as managing lease agreements, ensuring resident retention, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves extensive communication with potential and existing residents, administering lease agreements, and coordinating with other team members to streamline leasing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CRM software to immediately contact guest cards and begin the leasing process.
- Guide inquiries to schedule tours and follow up after tour completion.
- Provide advance notice to current residents of scheduled tours with documented communication.
- Collaborate with onsite property staff to ensure tours are completed correctly.
- Lead inquiries to fill out applications and collect necessary documents.
- Process and screen rental applications based on Company standards.
- Contact approved applicants to close the deal.
- Generate leases with accurate rates, dates, and fees to send for review and execution.
- Collect signatures and deposits to finalize leases and ledgers.
- Update unit availability accurately and efficiently.
- Provide insight into marketing efforts to maximize outreach.
- Provide excellent communication and deliver top-tier customer service throughout the leasing process.
- Assist the Supervisors as needed with additional duties.
Qualifications

- Experience in sales, property management, or leasing.
