What are the responsibilities and job description for the iRise - IPS Supported Employment Specalist position at Community Inclusion LLC?
The IPS Supported Employment Specialist will help participants identify their strengths, explore career interests, obtain competitive employment, and maintain success in the workplace. This position works closely with participants, employers, behavioral health providers, and other members of the treatment team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing individualized employment plans
• Helping participants search and apply for competitive jobs
• Building relationships with local employers
• Providing job coaching and ongoing workplace support
• Coordinating employment services with the participant’s treatment team
• Connecting participants with benefits counseling and community resources
• Maintaining accurate documentation and meeting IPS fidelity standards
• Supporting participants based on their choices, strengths, and recovery goals
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, rehabilitation, business, or a related field
• Experience in employment services, behavioral health, case management, vocational rehabilitation, or community-based services
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel throughout the service area
