Welcome to the heart and soul of Community Housing Initiatives! We're not your average nonprofit—we're the architects of dreams and the champions of community spirit. Imagine a world where every corner of Iowa feels like home sweet home—that's our playground, and we're here to play hard!

At CHI, we're not just about building structures; we're crafting experiences and forging connections that last a lifetime. We're turning housing into homes and neighborhoods into family.

So....What's the Resident Services Department that I am applying for?

The Resident Services Department - we're the superheroes of affordable multi-family and elderly housing! Our RS team is on a mission to keep roofs over heads and smiles on faces, all while serving up a hefty dose of TLC to our amazing residents.

Picture this: we're the eviction-prevention wizards, swooping in to save the day with rental assistance, community connections, and a sprinkle of lease education magic. We're not just about enforcing rules; we're all about empowering our residents to be superstar renters who can conquer any housing hurdle.

But that's not all! We're also the champions of physical and mental well-being, bridging the gap between residents and the care they need. From alerting emergency contacts to rallying support teams, we're here to ensure that no one falls through the cracks.

And let's talk success stories! Our RS team is all about helping families thrive, whether it's by hooking them up with job opportunities, childcare options, or stability services. Because at CHI, we believe that every family deserves a shot at greatness.

But wait, there's more! We're not just building apartments; we're building communities. By fostering connections and spreading the love, we're turning neighborhoods into tight-knit families who have each other's backs through thick and thin.

And last but not least, we're the communication gurus, keeping our residents in the loop with all the latest government goodies and community news. From program updates to relief efforts, we've got the inside scoop and we're not afraid to share it.

So, here's to the unsung heroes of affordable housing—here's to the CHI Resident Services team, where every day is a chance to make a difference and spread a little joy. Let's keep building stronger, happier, and more connected communities, one smile at a time!
