Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time CHART Navigator to join our team. As a Community Housing Access & Resource Team (CHART) Navigator, you'll engage with unhoused individuals in our community, empowering them to thrive! You'll collaborate with local agencies to support individuals transitioning to self-sufficiency. Your role will involve equipping them with resources for personal improvement and facilitating safe housing placements.
This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to create a work schedule that fits your availability while meeting the needs of the program. Applicants must have availability during regular business hours and may not maintain full-time employment that conflicts with daytime business-hour availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree in a related field will be considered.
- Two years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge and use of appropriate oral and written communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Code of Iowa within the performance of duties and maintenance of files and records.
