CHMHA has a fantastic opening for a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN).
**Weekends and Holidays off!**
Our RN/LPN will work as part of a team to provide mental health services in 24-hour residential care facilities. They will coordinate with staff prescribers and outside primary care providers as needed.

SCHEDULE
The schedule for this shift is Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic physical evaluation of clients, which includes blood glucose monitoring, blood pressures, and other basic health screenings
- Provide medication services for clients who require such services including client MARS chart reviews, injections, and blood draws as needed
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness with agency medical/clinical team for voluntary and involuntary clients. Revise treatment documentation as needed
- Provide individual treatment sessions when appropriate to emergency needs and per prescribed treatment plan
- Assist in discharge planning by providing written summaries of treatment as needed for member referrals and releases of information
- Coordinate with agency prescribers to ensure refills and other communications with pharmacies
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as needed
- Visually supervise medication distribution as necessary
- Provide consultation, education, and training to the staff at Community House and assigned contract employees as needed
- Maintain client records in keeping with agency, county, and state guidelines
- Maintain member and staff confidentiality at all times
- Attend scheduled meetings and conferences as assigned and in meeting requirements for RN/LPN licensing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active WA State RN or LPN license
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for 1 year with clean driving record in order to use agency vehicles.
- Have legible handwriting
- Ability to do simple mathematics
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend agency/member charts
Salary : $36 - $54
