$24.00 - $26.69 /hour

- Communicates, records, and reports promptly to the licensed nursing personnel vitals, treatment results, changes in patients condition, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the patient.
- Checks and repositions all immobile and incontinent residents at a minimum of every two hours providing needed incontinent care promptly as required by assigned unit.
- Promptly answers call lights and responds to alarms and patients requests.
- Follow-up on patient care responsibilities and assignments left from previous shift and reports to team leader any incomplete assignments to ensure continuity of care.
- Performs direct patient care activities for specific patient population according to established policies and procedures; adapts techniques to unique needs of each patient.
- Accurately places electrodes and activates telemetry monitoring, as assigned. Respond to request for telemetry/lead troubleshooting whether that of assigned patient or not.
Required
- Successful completion of a California State Approved Nursing Assistant program with a Certified Nurse Assistant(CNA) certificate
- Minimum 3 months experience performing ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) in a healthcare facility, including but not limited to home health, hospice, SNF, Rehab and acute care
- Certified Nursing Assistant: CA
- Aha Basic Life Support - CPR
Preferred
- Experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant(CNA) at an accredited acute care hospital or health care facility
