What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Informatics Specialist position at Community Hospital of Anaconda?
CHA is seeking a full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist. This role coordinates and participates in the ongoing maintenance, training and support of the clinical components of EPIC and other clinical modules/systems in conjunction with the IT department.
This Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a clinical liaison between medical staff, hospital staff and the IT/Informatics team. This role responds to data needs by building reports and ensuring that information is available and accurate, reviews clinical quality reports as needed, and helps identify correct workflows.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist identifies computer technologies that can benefit from healthcare providers, evaluates the effectiveness of clinical systems and assists physicians and clinical staff with other computer technologies as needed.
Registered Nurse with five years of clinical experience required. Extensive knowledge of computer systems, including EHR systems is required. 40-hour work week; typically scheduled Monday – Friday. Non-union. CHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
