What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Accounts Receivable position at Community Hospital McCook?
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing cash receipts, revenues, contractual adjustments, refunds, and assists with monthly reports. Will also provide courteous assistance in handling patient questions and complaints concerning billing and/or services of Community Hospital. This position is hybrid with time being split between in office and remote.
- Prior business experience required.
- Hospital or Medical Office experience preferred.
- Associate degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Accounting, finance, or business administration classes encouraged.
