The Medical Assistant, under the direction and supervision of LPN/RN and Provider, is responsible for managing the individual patient care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Provides patient education and consultation to explain and define complicated medical treatments and procedures, as well as perform injection training and medication education.
- Medication Aide Certification required
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
