Overnight Caregiver (part-full time)

Wage: $16.32 per hour
Current Hours of Need:
· Overnights: During the week and weekends = 10 pm – 7 am
· Other pick-up hours may be available
· Usual hours in the home are: 7 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 10 pm, and 10 pm – 7 am
· Back-to-back shifts are allowed
Tasks:
· Please Note: You do not need to be awake for this position however, there are 2 times for sure during the night you will need to check on this member and you may need to assist with one or all of the following in addition to anything else the member is in need of.
o Personal care
o Changings
o Transfers with a Hoyer lift
Ideal Candidate:
· Someone dependable, compassionate, and patient with a positive personality.
· Has 1 year of professional experience in a healthcare-related field
· Is familiar with the needs of someone with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
· Someone who has personal care experience, including the use of a Hoyer lift
· Someone who can make conversation about pretty much anything
· Someone who enjoys movies, music, game shows, and Survivor
· COVID-19 vaccinated preferred or willing to wear a mask when in close contact
· Has a reliable form of transportation
· Favorable Caregiver Background Check
Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organization or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
