What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Educator position at Community Horizons?
Here at Community Horizons, we are seeking to find a childcare provider for a family who is based in the Kaukauna area. This family is looking for a childcare provider for their 12-year-old boy, who has special needs along with medium-high support needs. This family is also asking that the childcare provider help with their 8-year-old son as well, for extra cash on the side.
In this position, the childcare provider would be taking these boys to fun activities after school. And keeping them safe and engaged during these activities.
Location:
- Kaukauna WI
Schedule:
· Monday-Thursday 2:45 PM – 5:45 PM
· Every other weekend as needed
(Hours for the weekend will be discussed in the phone screen)
Pay:
· $18.40

Tasks:
- Chat with family about what the day looks like
- Meal Prep Healthy Meals
- Transportation (After-school pick up, fun activities after school )
- Housekeeping (Just related to caring for Kiddos)
- Provide safety and supervision
Requirements:
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
· Experience working with special needs is preferred
· Experience working with children
· Kind and friendly
· Motivated
· Experience with Seizures
· Caregiver needs to know how to be patient
· Someone outgoing
