What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver for Elderly position at Community Home Health Care?
Community Home Health Care is hiring Caregivers (HHAs or PCAs) to work with some of our elderly clients in the Monticello, NY area.
Paid Training Opportunities:
- Paid PCA Certificate Training* (5–6 business days).
- Paid ACD Test-Out Option* (1–2 days): to qualify candidates must have at least three months of caregiving experience within the past three years.
*To be eligible for paid training, trainees must reside in Sullivan County and be able to travel to our Monticello office for classes.
- NEW! In-person or Hybrid PCA training available!* Hybrid training will be 2 days in person and the rest will be taken from home, offering great flexibility!
Caregiver Responsibilities may include:
- Remind client to take medication
- Prepare and serve meals
- Assist client in moving/walking
- Assist client with eating, dressing grooming & bathing
- Keep simple records
HOURS:
- PART-TIME / FULL-TIME / LIVE IN in certain locations
- CHOOSE THE CASES YOU ACCEPT!

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
