Phlebotomy Technician Instructor

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans and curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Able to work on-site
- Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately
- Works when scheduled; begins and ends work as expected; calls in according to policy when arriving late for work or when absent; uses work time appropriately
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT), or other healthcare credential from an accredited organization, and a minimum of 3-5 years of phlebotomy related experience.
- Proven coaching and development skills, including demonstrated ability to support and teach
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
- Energy, creativity and initiative
- Dependability, resilience, resourcefulness and enthusiasm
- 3 years of experience in phlebotomy in the last 5 years
- Able to provide hands-on training to students in the field of phlebotomy
- Is up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the field of phlebotomy
- Experience in teaching or training is a plus
