Downers Grove Community High School District 99 is seeking an Associate Principal for Staff and Students at North High School. This position provides leadership to all activities of the Office of the Deans of Students; supports the work of the district mentor committee; oversees and coordinates substitute teachers, student teachers, and administrative interns; oversees student field trips; organizes starting-and ending-the-school-year activities, coordinates new teacher induction, recruitment, appraisal, and retention of teachers, administers building-wide state testing; PBIS Implementation, coordinates special programs, and prepares the student handbook. Required IL Licensure and Education: Associate Principals must at a minimum hold a master’s degree in educational administration or equivalent and a valid Illinois Type 75 Administrative Certificate issued by the Educator Preparation and Licensure Board.
