What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver / Texarkana position at Community Healthcore?
- Job scope:**Provides transportation assistance for ACT and IST Team patients. Transports patients to doctor appointments, psychosocial rehab appointments, and appointments in the community. Will maintain vehicle logs to track transportation and when routine maintenance is required. Must be patient, professional and demonstrate positive attitude. Demonstrates ability to locate various addresses throughout the East Texas area.
- Education/licensure:**Current valid driver's license in state of residence. Good driving record. GED or high school diploma.
- Experience/Knowledge:**Ability to complete basic paperwork requirements related to each program. Knowledge and ability to locate addresses within the Longview metropolitan area as well as surrounding communities in order to pick up and deliver customers to their destinations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to work cooperatively with individuals and family to establish a positive relationship. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to sit while driving up to an eight hours day. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
