What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Associate position at Community Healthcare System?
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Utilizes knowledge of the guidelines of Good Clinical Practice and the Code of Federal Regulations and protocol guidelines to assist in tasks necessary to facilitate the research process.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree (in healthcare related field preferred) OR 5 years of clinical research experience
- Minimum of one-year research compliance related experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft and Internet software applications.
- Certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or certification within 6 months of eligibility
- Demonstrate knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and Good Documentation Practices
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of current NIH, FDA, and OHRP regulations and guidelines related to clinical research.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Code of Federal regulations pertaining to Human Subject Protections, including 45CFR46, 21CFR50, and 56, Good Clinical Practice, The Declaration of Helsinki, The Belmont Report and HIPAA.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving, writing and computer skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented with high attention to accuracy
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for travel to and from various sites of activity.
