JOB TITLE: Psychiatrist
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per Diem
SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM
PROGRAM/LOCATION: Child and Family Programs, Manchester CT- will require travel to surrounding CHR locations (Manchester, Enfield and Willimantic)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: M.D. Board certified or eligible in adult or child psychiatry.
Experience: Experience in adult or child psychiatry. Community mental health experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: CT license; Board Certified preferred, eligible required. Board Certified or eligible in child psychiatry for practice with children.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical Management and Services
- Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment and medication reviews.
- Maintain positive working relationships with community health organizations and outside medical and psych services to ensure coordination of client care
- Participates in case conferences/consultations, as required.
- Works with program supervisors to oversee client treatment plans.
- Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
