Role Description
The Director of Procurement will oversee the procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supply chain management, to ensure effective operations. This full-time, on-site position is based in Pensacola, FL. The role involves developing purchasing strategies, managing contracts, optimizing inventory supplies, and ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and industry standards. Additionally, the Director will supervise procurement staff and maintain relationships with vendors to secure quality products and services at competitive prices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, with a proven ability to establish and maintain favorable terms with vendors.
- Proficiency in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to handle sourcing, purchasing, and inventory processes efficiently.
- Strong Project Management skills to oversee procurement-related projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goals.
- Ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus.
