The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various dental issues, performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals, and educating patients on proper dental care.
**Qualifications:**
- Completion of a Dental Medicine degree from an accredited University
- Current and unrestricted New York State dental license to practice
- At least one (1) year or experience working as a staff Dentist
- Current DEA registration
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver general dentistry, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to patients.
- Refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers for additional evaluation or support when necessary.
- Maintain thorough patient care records, including medications, allergies, data, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Oversee dental care quality standards through Quality Assurance and Peer Review Audits.
- Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomes.
- Address patient inquiries promptly and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in a respectful manner.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and carry out other relevant duties as needed.

Salary Range: $154,000 - $164,000, depending on experience.
