Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dental office
- Preferably hold a registered dental assistant certification
- Assist the dentist in various procedures using four-handed dentistry principles
- Seat and dismiss patients, maintain cleanliness in the operatory and dental laboratory
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments, develop radiographs
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, perform laboratory duties, and clerical tasks
- Utilize computerized systems for patient registration and other clerical procedures
- Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks, including changing suction machine filters
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Exhibit personal integrity and professionalism
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Capability to handle physical demands of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Registered Dental Assistant: $18.78 - $22.46 per hour
- Dental Assistant without certification: $17.78 - $21.46 per hour
