We are looking for a Billing Support Specialist to join our team. Our Billing Support Specialists are responsible for managing past-due patient accounts, NSF checks, bankruptcy notices, credit balances, returned mail, and patient statements. They review aging reports, contact patients regarding outstanding balances, establish payment arrangements, and follow up on payment agreements as needed. They also process bankruptcy discharges and NSF checks in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations, review credit balances for refunds and billing errors, and work closely with clinic staff and satellite offices to resolve account issues. In addition, they receive and post payments, investigate and rebill outstanding claims, provide collection support to staff, and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year previous general office/clerical experience
