As our Safety & Compliance Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in protecting our patients, visitors, and employees across all CHCS facilities. You'll lead the charge in environmental safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness - ensuring our organization operates at the highest standards.
You won't just check boxes - you'll drive real impact by:
- Leading our Safety Team and conducting regular safety meetings
- Overseeing OSHA, HIPAA, HRSA, CLIA and other regulatory compliance efforts
- Conducting safety inspections, hazard surveillance, and internal audits
- Coordinating fire drills, severe weather planning, active threat training, and more
- Developing and maintaining Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations Plans
- Preparing for regulatory surveys and accreditation reviews
- Promoting a culture of compliance, accountability and ethical conduct
In short: you'll help ensure CHCS is safe, prepared, and compliant - every single day.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of safety or compliance-related experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
