Community Health Care Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team in Sandersville, GA. As part of our integrated care model at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), this role supports chiropractic care delivery by assisting with clinical tasks, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring accurate documentation within our EHR system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Chiropractor with patient care, including positioning and therapeutic support.
- Take and record patient vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with administering therapeutic modalities as directed (e.g., heat packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound).
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after each patient visit.
- Maintain smooth patient flow and help manage appointment scheduling as needed.
- Accurately update and maintain patient records in EClinicalWorks EHR System.
- Support Communication between the chiropractor, patients, and other clinical team members.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness or chiropractic exam/treatment spaces.
- Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as assigned to support the chiropractic and broader medical team.
Preferred Qualification:
- Prior experience in a medical or chiropractic office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or another electronic health records system.
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to be trained in chiropractic care procedures and therapeutic modalities.
