We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage crisis hotline operations including providing support and consultation to crisis hotline professionals, oversee the delivery of hotline services, scheduling and training. This role requires leadership skills, strong active listening skills, crisis de-escalation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises team members providing training, supervision, performance feedback and evaluations.
- Manages the hotline schedule to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Evaluates team members competency in performing hotline services and successfully completing required training.
- Assists in the recruiting and hiring of new team members and interns.
- Provides on-call coverage and support to team members.
- Reviews and approves timecards and time off requests.
- Leads team meetings.
- Reviews and provides feedback on documentation to team members and interns.
- Delegates various projects and responsibilities to team members.
- Provides immediate telephone crisis management to callers identified at risk for suicide or other mental health emergencies and assists in stabilization of the caller.
- Maintains current knowledge of community resources to aid callers in providing appropriate linkage to needed services and supports.
- Participates in required training to enhance professional development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in related field preferred.
- Two years of experience working on a mental health crisis hotline.
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to remain calm, professional and supportive under pressure
- Experience in mental health field is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Competently communicates effectively verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills for documentation and online communication tools
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screen and required training
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings, overnights and weekends
