ABOUT THE ROLE

The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded professional to join our team as an Operations and Finance Administrator.


This role plays a key part in how philanthropy happens in our region β€” supporting donor contributions, processing grants and scholarships, and helping ensure our day-to-day operations run smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as the first point of contact for calls, visitors, and general inquiries
  • Process contributions and generate donor acknowledgments
  • Support payment processing for grants, scholarships, and vendor expenses
  • Assist with financial documentation, reporting, and audit preparation
  • Coordinate board and meeting logistics
  • Maintain accurate records across donor, grant, and financial systems


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort working with numbers and systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
  • Experience in administrative, financial, nonprofit, or customer-facing roles is helpful but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $42,000–$46,000 (non-exempt)
