Director of Information Technology

The Community Foundation of Elkhart County is growing and seeking our first Director of Information Technology to lead the systems, tools, and security that help us inspire generosity and improve quality of life in our community.

This new leadership role will guide all technology operations—ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and forward-looking. The director will help shape how we use data, cloud services, and digital platforms to serve donors, nonprofits, and partners across Elkhart County.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the Community Foundation’s mission and strategic plan
• Strengthen reliability, security, and efficiency while advancing cloud adoption and data integration
• Lead cybersecurity, vendor relationships, and major initiatives such as cloud migration, CRM integration, and AI policy rollout
• Build a collaborative, service-oriented IT culture that supports staff and partners

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
• At least five years of IT leadership experience—preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting
• Proven success in cloud migration, vendor management, and large-scale projects
• A clear, collaborative communication style that helps technical and non-technical audiences work together
