Objective: Deposit Operations Clerk will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of customer accounts. This position will process all deposit related items that are handled by the operations Department and back up loan items. This position will be responsible for answering customer calls to resolve issues or answer any questions. This position will work closely with other Operation Clerks/Specialist/Supervisor/Operations Manager to ensure that dual control and appropriate backups are in place. This position will be responsible for the day to day scanning of loan and deposit documents, servicing of customer accounts, and answering customer calls to resolve issues or answer any questions.
Classification: This position is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position who reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Location: Kokomo –Main Branch Downtown

- Perform maintenance CSI Maintenance on Account Holders and Accounts.
- Assist with Zero/Closed Report daily processing.
- Back up for reviewing all Watchdog Elite Matches.
- Back up for checking for Employee Overdrafts.
- Back up for coding Employee Accounts.
- Perform all requirements for Self-Storage Boxes.
- Process NSF decisions, EIP items (Unposted & Exception Items), Non-NSF items, Return Checks, and Chargeback Items
- File/Store Maintenance Review packets.
- Balancing In Process Accounts
- Quarterly Recons
- Assist with Customer Calls and resolution for both loans and deposit accounts.
- Assist with Online Banking Consumer/Business Customer Calls
- Assist with Deposit document scanning when needed.
- Back up Debit Card Disputes.
- Assist with Call Center duties and responsibilities.
- Review other miscellaneous CSI reports when needed.
- Back up Electronic Banking area responsibilities.
- Responsible for scanning loan and deposit documents
- Process and complete research requests
- Assist with review of stop payments and duplicate check reports.
- Assist Balancing in Process Accounts
- Assist with Business Banking and Online Banking Customer Calls
- Perform as a team member in working closely with other Operation Clerks and the Digital Banking CSR to ensure that dual control and appropriate backups are in place
- Other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor

Qualifications:
- One to two years of Banking Experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and attentiveness in dealing with both customers and employees.
- Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others and make recommendations for changes
- Ability to understand and work within policy and regulatory guidelines
- Confidentiality is a vital part of this position.
- Bookkeeping skills with major emphasis on Balancing.
- Retail Banking Experience Preferred.
