JOB SUMMARY:

CFSB is a full-service payments, lending, and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Associate to support the execution and continuous enhancement of the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management framework. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Risk Management, the Associate will assist in the implementation and execution of enterprise-wide risk management activities across the Bank. This role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of professional experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, compliance, banking operations, financial services, or another analytical function. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities. Experience with business intelligence tools, data visualization, and AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred. The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and enhance recurring Enterprise Risk Management reports, dashboards, and Board Committee materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery. 
  • Collect, validate, analyze, and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other enterprise risk metrics.
  • Support the Enterprise Issues Management process by tracking issues, maintaining documentation, validating updates, and preparing management reporting. 
  • Coordinate and support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), including maintaining risk documentation, process maps, risk registers, and supporting materials. 
  • Assist with control testing activities by organizing documentation, collecting supporting evidence, tracking testing progress, and maintaining testing records. 
  • Develop, maintain, and improve reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualizations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other reporting applications. 
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and meeting materials using Microsoft PowerPoint. 
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, reporting anomalies, emerging risks, and opportunities for process improvements. 
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and research to support risk assessments, management requests, regulatory examinations, internal audits, and strategic initiatives. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized risk documentation, policies, procedures, and other Enterprise Risk Management records. 
  • Collaborate with business units and risk partners to collect information, resolve data discrepancies, and support enterprise risk initiatives. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency within the Enterprise Risk Management function. 
  • Assist Enterprise Risk Management team members with special projects and other departmental initiatives, as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, formulas, charts, and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to prepare executive-quality presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar process mapping software preferred.
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve reporting, documentation, data analysis, and workflow efficiency preferred.
  • Experience working with and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources.


Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, compliance, banking operations, financial services, public accounting, management consulting, or another analytical role.
  • Experience preparing executive reporting, performing data analysis, or supporting governance, risk management, or internal control activities is preferred.
