Associate, Data Engineer

Community Federal Savings Bank is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking an Associate, Data Engineer, you will partner with talented architects, infrastructure engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists and data analysts to improve may different products and services. You will analyze, design, develop, test, and perform ongoing maintenance to build high quality data pipelines that drive platform delivery. You will implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences for our customers.Responsibilities:Build and optimize data pipelines latest coding practices and industry standards, modern design patterns and architectural principlesConduct complex data analysis and report on results, prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, combine raw information from different sources Develop and maintain process and data documentationMonitor and triage the data pipeline processesWrite unit, integration tests and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, developing solutions to address the problemApply a software development approach to data engineering problems (including testing, documentation, modularity and dry-ness, CI/CD workflow, etc.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to use programming languages including but not limited to Python, SQL, Java, Shell scriptingStrong understanding with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS)Experience with Data Visualization tools (Looker, Mode, Sigma, ThoughtSpot, etc.…) is a plusStrong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedureStrong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsEducation, Training, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 4 years of experience requiredExpert level experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake, dbt cloud, SQL, Python, Shell scriptingSalary Range: $85K - $100K / year"Base salary range does not include performance-based bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable.
