Position Overview
It Takes A Village Leadership Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated 3rd –5th Grade Classroom Teachers to join our elementary school team. In this role, you will create a rigorous, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in core subject areas
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use culturally responsive teaching practices that reflect students’ identities and experiences
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Use assessments and data to inform instruction and support student growth
- Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students’ social-emotional development and positive behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to continuously improve instructional practices and student outcomes
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support classroom, school, and organizational needs

- Salary Range: $54,365 – $74,603

- This position is supported through grant-funded programs that are integral to ITAV’s education model. These funding streams enable us to expand access to high-quality, culturally responsive care and learning across our communities.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- 3 years of elementary teaching experience
- Experience working in urban education or culturally responsive educational settings
