About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
- Technique Instruction
- Teach proper wrestling fundamentals: stance, takedowns, escapes, reversals, rides, and pins.

Progress wrestlers through advanced techniques and counters based on experience and weight class.

Practice Planning & Execution:

Design structured practices that include warm-ups, technical drills, live wrestling, and conditioning.

Focus on repetition, muscle memory, and situational training.

Match & Tournament Preparation:

Prepare athletes for individual and team competitions through mock matches and strategic planning.

Strength & Conditioning:

Incorporate strength training, flexibility, agility drills, and endurance work into regular training.

Start Date: June 16th-June 18th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: June 16th-June 18th 12:00-1:15 pm
FTE: 0.09375 (3.75 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching in wrestling
