Health/Nutrition Manager

BA in Public Health, Nutrition, and/or Health Related Field: $28.73

We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Health and Nutrition Manager to oversee the day-to-day health and nutrition activities of our Head Start centers, facilitates health services to young children, and develop partnerships with local health agencies to ensure that children’s health needs are met. The position is also responsible for recordkeeping regarding child health activities, nutrition, and outreach. The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably related to health or nutrition. Experience working in public health or nutrition arena and working with low-income clients preferred. Experience and training in public health, nursing, health education, maternal and child health or health administration preferred. Experience and knowledge of family-strengths/family-centered practice preferred. One-year supervisory experience preferred. Previous Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred.
