Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Patient Services Representative to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office or medical setting, possess strong administrative skills, and be familiar with patient service protocols.
The ideal schedule for this position would be 4 days 6:45am-5:30pm. Mondays the office is closed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient data entry and scheduling
- Assist with administrative tasks at the front desk to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical facility preferred, but happy to train the right person
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of patient service principles
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
