Your Impact
As a key part of our front office team, you’ll ensure the clinic runs smoothly each day by:
- Greeting every patient and visitor with warmth, dignity, and respect
- Supporting daily front office operations that help our care teams focus on patients
- Managing calls, scheduling, and communications with compassion and clarity
- Assisting underserved and vulnerable populations with patience and professionalism
- Collaborating with staff, volunteers, and partners to bring high-quality dental care to those who need it most
- Helping patients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healthcare experience
- Capturing patient stories, testimonials, and feedback to highlight the clinic’s impact
- Ensuring patients complete surveys to support data collection for grants and program improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming presence for all guests
- Coordinate daily front desk operations and patient flow
- Manage incoming calls and provide basic clinic information
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and office area
- Process and scan patient paperwork, referrals, and lab slips
- Coordinate with lab services for timely case pickup and delivery
- Assemble post-operative care packs and support treatment coordination
- Present financial treatment plans with clarity and empathy
- Communicate with off-site volunteers and referral sources
- Maintain office supplies and organize shared spaces
- Support clinic leadership with administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with all safety and patient privacy regulations
- Gather Testimonials from the patients
- Complete patient testimonials to highlight impact stories
- Take before-and-after treatment photos as directed
- Ensure patients complete surveys to gather data for grant reporting
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or management team.
What You Bring
- A heart for service and a passion for community health
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and a friendly, professional tone
- Comfort working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Moderate dental or medical knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience & Education
- Minimum of 1 year in an administrative or healthcare office setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Training Provided
- Community Dental Clinic onboarding and ongoing training
- Bio-waste handling training (provided)
- HIPAA Certification (provided)
Schedule & Time Commitment
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)
- Occasional evening or weekend events as needed
