Position Summary
CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology systems and infrastructure that support our growing organization.
CommUnity operates 24/7 crisis services and community-based programs locally, statewide, and nationally. The IT Manager is responsible for helping ensure employees have reliable, secure technology to do their jobs and that the organization has the systems, security, and infrastructure needed to support its services.
This is a hands-on position that includes day-to-day IT support as well as responsibility for cybersecurity, systems administration, vendors, technology projects, equipment, policies, and longer-term technology planning.
CommUnity is in a significant period of growth, and this position will have the opportunity to help build and mature our internal IT function. The IT Manager will help us evaluate what is working, identify gaps, strengthen our technology infrastructure and security practices, and put systems and processes in place that can support the organization as it grows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, computers, mobile devices, cloud applications, telecommunications, and related systems.
Provide and coordinate day-to-day technical support for employees.
Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and technology-related onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain and strengthen cybersecurity practices, including endpoint protection, access controls, backups, monitoring, security testing, and employee education.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, standards, and inventories.
Manage hardware and software purchasing, licensing, deployment, inventory, and replacement.
Evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve operations, security, and efficiency.
Manage relationships with IT vendors, managed service providers, software providers, telecommunications providers, and other technology partners.
Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and other IT projects.
Maintain and test data backup, disaster recovery, and technology-related business continuity procedures.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security and address potential problems before they disrupt operations.
Work with the CFO and CEO on technology planning, budgeting, purchasing, and organizational risk.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary technology costs and improve processes.
Provide leadership with recommendations related to technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology-related risks.
Train and support employees in the effective and secure use of technology.
Stay current on cybersecurity threats, technology changes, and practices relevant to CommUnity's operations.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
